Historical Gazetteer of the Crimea

This document provides an overview of the Historical Gazetteer of Crimea, starting with a review of the information sources used to create the gazetteer, followed by descriptions of the HGC datasets. The HGC dataset format is then presented, along with directions on how to access the dataset. Next, implications of associating gazetteer places with the GeoNames database are discusses. This document concludes with suggestions for future work.
